16-Year Arena Football League Executive to Provide Key Leadership and Expertise to Pacific Pro
Los Angeles (April 5, 2017) – Thomas Goodhines, former Arena Football League (AFL) Executive Vice President joins Pacific Pro Football (“Pacific Pro”) as Vice President of Football Administration, Pacific Pro CEO, Donald Yee announced today.
Goodhines just completed his 16th season in the Arena Football League, where he served as Executive Vice President and oversaw all Communications, Broadcasting and Game Operations efforts. He will be based out of Los Angeles, reporting to Yee.
In his new role, Goodhines will be responsible for leading all football logistics of the league including, facilities, recruiting / scouting, officiating, scheduling, and game operations.

Either as a member of the media or with league/team personnel, Goodhines has been involved with the sport of Arena Football since 1995 (21 seasons). Prior to his most recent stint at the League Office, Goodhines spent five and a half years as the General Manager of the Philadelphia Soul (2010-2015), where he was a three-time finalist for AFL’s Executive of the Year in 2012-13 and 2015.
Previously, Goodhines also spent five seasons as the Director of Media Services for the Arena Football League Office in New York City and Chicago, spent two and a half years as the Director of Communications and Football Operations for the AFL’s Utah Blaze in Salt Lake City (2005-07) and served as lead consultant for AFL China and their first exhibition game in Beijing, China.
Goodhines, a native of Chittenango, NY, has 10 years of radio broadcasting experience with WMCR Radio in Oneida, NY and nearly five years of combined experience as Sports Editor with the Oneida Daily Dispatch and Ithaca (NY) Journal. He received an Associate’s Degree in Radio and Television from Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, NY before attending Cazenovia (NY) College for Sports Management.
